Custom AMI (Smart Meter) Data Visualization Platform
Client: Veitur (Utility & DSO)
Anton & Company developed a custom desktop tool for Veitur that transforms smart meter and GIS data into engineering insight. The platform enables planners to analyze system behavior across individual meters and substations, with map-based navigation, real-time querying, and built-in tools for evaluating load, voltage, and transformer capacity.
EV Load Detection and Scenario Modeling Using AMI (Smart Meter) Data
Client: Veitur (Utility & DSO)
Using time-series data from over 24,000 smart meters, we developed a method to detect EV charging behavior and project transformer-level impacts under high EV adoption scenarios. Our approach gave Veitur a temporally and geospatially resolved forecast of grid stress points, enabling smarter investment planning in Iceland’s electrification journey.
